Making fries at home can be challenging to get the texture right. Thankfully, this is one place where an air fryer can make life easier. Can you believe that you can get restaurant-quality fries in under 15 minutes? Here’s how-
Ingredients–
- Russet potatoes
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions–
- Preheat air fryer to 375F
- Slice potatoes into long strips/fries. We want them to be around 1/4 inch thick. Feel free to use a fry press if you have one.
- Toss potatoes in a bowl with olive oil and salt/pepper to coat.
- Lay the fries out in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overlap and also try to keep a little space between each fry.
- Cook until golden and crispy. Check at 10 minutes. Usually done by 15 minutes.
- Repeat batches until enough fries are ready.
- Serve immediately.
